The convenient location just 0.5 km from County Center/Little Italy made it easy to explore the area.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to Little Italy, and my room offered a lovely view of the bay. The staff were attentive and always ready to assist, making my stay truly enjoyable.

Family vacation gone wrong

The room setup was actually great, the separate toilet and shower? Genius. We enjoyed the $5 happy hour specials at the restaurant down below, it saved us a bit of cash, and there was that free brioche loaf offer when you showed your room key.

But honestly, we didn’t get what we paid for, it wasn’t exactly inexpensive and the amenities were mediocre.

This was just a solid selection for a weekend escape in San Diego with outstanding value. The kids loved watching the planes land right from our window, which added excitement to our stay. If noise bothers you, maybe bring earplugs.

The essential king studio suite had great amenities like a dishwasher and microwave. Breakfast was awesome with fresh croissants. The pool area was nice and clean. The fitness center was well-equipped. Staff were super helpful, even storing my son’s food to keep it fresh. Highly recommend!

I loved the easy access to Waterfront Park just a short stroll away, and the hotel was so close to the USS Midway Museum that it made exploring San Diego a breeze during my stay.

I really enjoyed my time at Homewood Suites in San Diego. The location made exploring Little Italy super easy, with many great dining options within walking distance. The courtyard area with the fire pits and outdoor games like ping pong added a fun touch for my kids. The gym had Peloton bikes, which I loved using. The free breakfast offered a decent variety to kickstart the day, though I hoped for more options. Our suite was clean and spacious, perfect for a family stay. Sadly, the mattress was a bit squeaky and unsupportive, which made sleeping a challenge. Also, the room we booked wasn't available upon check-in, leading to confusion about size and accessibility. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Alfonso, who helped us get connected rooms.

Large and spacious King Studio Suite with a beautiful harbor view made our stay pleasant. The included breakfast offered a variety of options, which was a highlight. However, while the location allowed easy walks to Little Italy and nearby attractions, the flat pillows were disappointing and affected our sleep quality.
